I'm just a girl from the California Coast who always knew I had a big purpose in life... but I didn't know it would lead to this!
I've always been an empath, pulled to the community, and a forever friend to anyone I've ever met. Growing up in LA, I never sought to be in the entertainment industry as it always felt, well, cliquey. Still, when I stumbled into my first career, walking onto the campus of DreamWorks Animation Studios, it's safe to say I was instantly hooked on the creative world.
Years spent in Consumer Products and Licensing departments across multiple studios working on some of the most beloved movies and games ever made - I was burned out, my creativity drained, and I was tired of feeling like I was easily replaceable by an over-eager intern that would do any job for free just to get in the door. Ugh. No matter how good I was at my job, the magic was gone.
With no real plan, I took a chance on going after what I loved and what made me feel good.
Fast forward to getting married and planning a dreamy destination wedding in Mexico, I realized I could make my own magic. A six-figure luxury destination event company was born and booming one year later, and I never looked back.
But it wasn't long until I realized I had left one exhausting and closed-off industry for another - I was heartbroken - but a new passion had grown inside me and I knew things could be different, should be different. I made it a mission to start meeting with companies and brands that had an opportunity to encourage real change - and one by one; it worked.
12 years later and now I work internally with major start ups and you might have crossed my path at HoneyBook, Aisle Planner and Rock Paper Coin. This new passion has led to building and nurturing authentic and organic brand communities making them a household name in their industries. More business owners and creatives are realizing that authenticity, community and business are so much better - together ❤️
